The size is the one I ordered (27mm; neither tiny nor giant), they look like they are made of steel and surely they are, although they are probably hollow because they weigh nothing :) The butterfly is ALMOST perfect because it stays secure but slides easily (that is to say; neither loose nor super hard like the steel butterflies always were), and I say ALMOST perfect because the ideal would be for them to be a little thicker, since having such thin edges they dig into the fingers when putting them on and hurt haha (the fingers) but nothing serious. They are very comfortable and feel like good quality, I recommend them in that sense :) The only thing I didn't like and was surprised by is that they have a vertical line in the center, and then I saw the seller's photos and it's true that you can see it if you look closely. I don't know if all the earrings of this famous model are sold with that manufacturing line in the middle, I suppose not, but well, maybe it's not noticeable from afar in person haha ^^'
